Synopsis

One year after the events of the first film, Wrong Turn 2 opens with a contestant Kimberly, a spoiled celebrity who's running late for her appearance on a Survivor-like reality television show. Losing her bearings in the mountains of West Virginia and while complaining to her agent on the phone, she accidentally hits someone with her car. Visibly shaken, she goes to help him, unaware that the victim is a mutated cannibal. After attempting to help, "Brother" bites her lips off while the surviving cannibal from the first film, Three-Finger, cuts her vertically in half with an axe as she stumbles back to her car. The two cannibals each drag half of her body away.
As the opening titles roll, we meet with five strangers, Nina, the goth, loner girl, Jake, the athletic, kind hearted guy, Jonesy, the goofy joker, Elena, the token slut and Amber, the tough military girl. They are competing in the reality show called "Apocalypse: Ultimate survivalist" with a theme that it takes place at the end of the world. The show is hosted by retired military commander, Dale Murphy (Rollins), who makes them give up all outside communication before starting. After Kimberly doesn't show up, the show's producer Mara steps into her place. As they move into the forest, the surviving cannibal from the first movie attacks and kills one of the show's producers. He then knocks out and captures Dale.
Mara, after catching her boyfriend Michael cheating on her with contestant Elena, goes with Nina to a cabin in search of a phone. There, they witness a cannibal "Ma" giving birth, and are, in turn, spotted. The girls get out of the cabin as "Sister" kicks down the door. The two run away into the woods with the cannibals chasing them. During the pursuit, Mara is hit in the head with an axe and killed as Nina hides. One of the cannibals, "Pa", looks for her but doesn't find her. The other cannibals drive up with Mara tied to the hood of their truck and the cannibal gets in and drive off. Nina sets off to find the others.
Down by the lake, M goes back to the RV and Elena stays there to tan. A cannibal watching her in the bushes starts masturbating but is interrupted by Sister who is furious and jelous of Elena. Sister knocks him over and he sets off an alarm. Elena hears it and gets up and starts to get dressed. Sister runs out of the bushes towards Elena who trips and falls into the lake and Sister slashes her back with a knife relentlessly, killing her. She only stops when Brother comes out of the bush and they start kissing.
Back at the RV, Michael is stabbed with an arrow, taken to the cannibals' home, and later decapitated. As Three-Finger tortures Dale, he uses a moment to his advantage, manages to escape, and shoots the mutant with a shotgun.
Amber and Jonesy find Jake at a barbecue pit. As they eat the discovered meat, a crazed Nina races up and tells her story. Jonesy then realizes it has been Kimberly's leg that they've been eating after spotting her signature snake tattoo. As they run, Dale finds "The Old Man" (from the previous movie) in his cabin. Dale tells him about the cannibals and soon realizes the man is their un-mutated father. After a brief skirmish, Dale kills the old man.
Amber and Jonesy are soon after killed with arrows, while Nina and Jake get trapped, captured and brought back to the mutant's home, after discovering an abandoned mill filled with stolen, empty cars. As they torture Nina at their dinner table, feeding her with human flesh, an enraged Dale enters their compound, kills several of them, and is then killed by a spool of barbed wire that gets wrapped around his throat. Nina successfully escapes, however Jake wanders into a room where an enormous meat grinder is kept, and soon gets into a fight with Pa. Realizing she has to help him, Nina returns to the mill and along Jake kills what they believe are the last mutants by pushing them into the grinder. They then find Kimberly's abandoned sports car and drive away to safety.
As the film ends, the still alive Three-Finger feeds the newborn mutant baby Splooge Mara's finger and a bottle. His laugh is heard over the end credits.

SYNOPSIS

Han, the ruthless and tyrannical first Emperor of China, known as the Dragon Emperor conquered all his enemies, many of whom were buried under the Great Wall of China, and mastered the five elements, but could not conquer death. He sought the help of a witch, Zi Yuan, who knew where to find the secret of immortality. Han orders his second in command, General Ming, to help her with her research. The Emperor tells Ming that no man is to touch Zi Yuan, as he wants her himself. The two fall in love during their search however and are watched by a spy. After Zi Yuan supposedly casts the immortality spell on Han, he invites her to the balcony where she is given the choice of becoming Han's wife or watching Ming die. Zi Yuan angrily denies Han and watches Ming pulled apart by horses. Han then stabs Zi Yuan. She reveals that she has in fact cursed the Emperor and his army, turning them into the Terracotta Army, and flees.

In 1946, 13 years after the events of The Mummy Returns, explorer Rick O'Connell, his wife Evelyn, and brother-in-law Jonathan are retired but still miss their adventuring days, while their son Alex has become an adventurer. With the financial backing of Roger Wilson, an archaeology professor, Alex locates Han's tomb. He is attacked by a mysterious woman, but brings Han back to Shanghai. Meanwhile, the British government entrusts the O'Connells to take the Eye of Shangri-La back to China as a good faith gesture from to the Chinese. They arrive at the Imhotep (aptly named after the villain of the first two films) a night club in Shanghai owned by Jonathan. Alex gives them a tour of the exhibit, where it is revealed that Wilson is in league with a paramilitary group led by General Yang and his Second-in-Command Choi, who see Han as the only one who can bring order to China. Using the Eye, which contains water from Shangri-La, they resurrect Han. Han is still trapped in his clay, terracotta form, the surface of which often chips away to reveal his charred, cursed husk of a body underneath. Han accepts the service of Choi and Yang but kills Wilson. The woman from the excavation site tries to kill Han with a dagger cursed by Zi Yuan, but fails.

The woman reveals herself to be Lin, a protector of Han's tomb and Zi Yuan's and Ming's daughter. The O'Connells, Jonathan, and Lin trek through the Himalayas and reach the tower that will reveal the path to Shangri-La when the Eye is placed on top of it. Han and his allies arrive soon. Lin summons a trio of Yeti to assist in the battle, but Han manages to place the Eye atop the tower. Rick is impaled by Han's sword while protecting Alex as he triggers an avalanche, which buys them time to reach Shangri-La first.

There Rick is healed by Zi Yuan. Using the water, she and Lin have become immortal and have guarded the secrets of the Emperor. Han arrives and bathes in the pool, restoring his human form and gaining shape-shifting abilities. He shapeshifts into a three-headed dragon, kidnaps Lin, and flies to raise his Terracotta Army at the excavation site. The O'Connells and Zi Yuan pursue Han, while Jonathan and a pilot Mad Dog Macguire leave to gather reinforcements to stop him.

Han summons his army, which will become invincible after crossing the Great Wall. To buy time, Zi Yuan sacrifices her immortality and that of Lin to revive those buried beneath the Great Wall. Led by Ming, the undead army and the Terracotta army fight. Zi Yuan and Han also fight one-on-one. Zi Yuan sacrifices herself to steal back the cursed dagger. Alex saves Lin who receives the dagger.

Jonathan returns with warplanes to fight back. While Rick and Alex head off to fight Han, Evelyn and Lin fight Yang and Choi. Yang gets caught in one of the rotating wooden cranks. Choi attempts to pull him out and refuses to let go, crushing and killing them both. Rick and Alex find themselves outmatched against the shape-shifting Emperor, and the dagger is broken during the confrontation. Rick goads the Emperor into fighting fair, and manages to plunge the dagger hilt into his heart. Alex in turn stabs him in the back, destroying him.

Back at the Imhotep, Mad Dog is the new owner and the O'Connell's celebrate. But Jonathan goes to Peru with the Eye of Shangri-La, a place he claims has no mummies. Once he arrives, however, mummies are discovered there.

Plot

Synopsis
The Incredible Hulk is a 2008 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character the Hulk, which was released on June 13, 2008. It is directed by Louis Leterrier and stars Edward Norton as Dr. Bruce Banner / the Hulk, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, William Hurt as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross and Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky. The film follows Banner as he flees the pursuit of General Ross while attempting to find a cure to rid himself of the Hulk. When Blonsky personally volunteers to be injected with Banner's gamma formula to aid Ross in his capture, he becomes an even greater monster, and Banner must accept his inner beast to defeat Blonsky.

After the 2003 film Hulk, Marvel Studios reacquired the rights to the character, and writer Zak Penn began work on a loose sequel that would be much closer to the comics and the television series. Norton rewrote the script after he signed on to star, severing all ties to its predecessor by retelling the origin story in flashbacks and revelations, thereby establishing the film as a reboot. Leterrier's direction aimed to make the monsters look more realistic and frightening. He redesigned Blonsky's monstrous gamma-irradiated form — called the Abomination in the comics — from a reptilian humanoid into a mutated man with bony protrusions. Filming mostly took place in Toronto, Canada in 2007, where the production attempted to be environmentally friendly.

STORY

In 1957, Colonel-Doctor Irina Spalko (Cate Blanchett) and a convoy of Soviet soldiers infiltrate a military base in the Nevada desert. They force Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) to lead them to a crate in "Hangar 51", which holds the remains of an extraterrestrial creature that crashed ten years before in Roswell, New Mexico. Jones attempts to escape, but is foiled by his partner Mac (Ray Winstone), who reveals that he is working with the Soviets. After a fight and an elaborate vehicle chase through the warehouse, Jones escapes on a rocket sled into the desert, where he stumbles upon a nuclear test town and survives a nuclear blast by hiding in a lead-lined refrigerator. While being debriefed, Jones discovers he is under FBI investigation because of Mac's Soviet ties. Jones returns to Marshall College, where he is offered a leave of absence to avoid being fired because of the investigation. While leaving, Jones is stopped by Mutt Williams (Shia LaBeouf) and told that his old colleague, Harold Oxley (John Hurt), disappeared after discovering a crystal skull in Peru.

In Peru, Jones and Mutt discover that Oxley was locked in a church-operated psychiatric hospital until Soviet soldiers kidnapped him. In Oxley's former cell, Jones discovers clues to the grave of Francisco de Orellana, a Conquistador who went missing in the 1500s while seeking Akator (also known as El Dorado). At the Nazca Lines, Jones finds the crystal skull that Oxley hid in Orellana's grave. The skull is elongated in the shape that indigenous peoples formed their own skulls into; the Soviets believe the skull is from an extraterrestrial life-form, holding great psychic power. The Soviets capture Indy and Mutt and take them to the camp where they are holding Oxley and Mutt's mother, Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen), who reveals that Mutt is Jones's son. The four escape from the camp, leading to a lengthy vehicle chase involving sword fights and several Soviet soldiers being killed by army ants. Mutt, Marion, Mac, Oxley, and Jones ride an amphibious vehicle over a cliff and down three waterfalls, eventually finding the Temple of Akator. Claiming that he is a double agent working against the Soviets, Mac enters the temple with Jones and the group while leaving a trail for the Soviets to follow.

The group enters the temple and Jones uses the skull to open the door to a chamber tomb. Inside, thirteen crystal skeletons, one with a missing skull, are seated on thrones. When the Soviets arrive, Mac reveals that he lied about being a double agent. Spalko places the skull onto the skeleton, and it begins communicating to the group through Oxley using an ancient Mayan dialect. Jones translates this to mean that the aliens want to give them a great gift. Spalko demands to know everything, and the skulls begin firing knowledge into her eyes, causing her to shake. As a portal to another dimension appears over the room, Oxley regains his sanity and explains that the aliens are inter-dimensional beings who taught the Maya their advanced technology. Jones, Mutt, Marion, and Oxley escape from the temple, but Mac is sucked into the portal. The skeletons form into a single alien which continues to feed Spalko with knowledge; however, the knowledge overwhelms Spalko, causing her to ignite and disintegrate. The temple crumbles, and a flying saucer rises from the debris and disappears. Back home, Jones is made an associate dean and marries Marion.

STORY

During a business trip to Afghanistan to demonstrate Stark Industries' new weapon, the "Jericho" cluster missile, Tony Stark's convoy is attacked. One of his own company's bombs lands near him and explodes. The blast causes him to lose consciousness and embeds several pieces of shrapnel in his chest, one fragment dangerously close to his heart. He wakes up some time later with an electromagnet attached to his chest. Hooked up to a car battery, the electromagnet keeps the shrapnel from entering his heart and killing him.

Stark has been captured by the terrorist group Ten Rings, who order him to build a Jericho missile for them. Instead, he and fellow captive Dr. Yinsen secretly build a crude but strong power armor fueled by a miniature "arc reactor", a smaller version of a power source previously invented by Stark. The arc reactor supplies energy to an electromagnet which prevents embedded shrapnel from reaching Stark's heart, which would kill him. Dr. Yinsen is killed in the ensuing escape attempt when he stalls the guards to buy Stark enough time to power up the suit. Using the suit, Stark kills several terrorists, destroys their weapons stockpile, and escapes, though his suit is destroyed as he crash lands in the desert. Upon being picked up by the Air Force and returning to the United States, Stark declares that his company will no longer manufacture weapons. His father's friend and business partner, Obadiah Stane, tells him that this move is blocked by the board members shortly after.

Stark retreats from public view, focusing on the design of his power suit, refining its size and flight capability. He also builds a more powerful and reliable mini-arc reactor to power both his life support and the suit. During his first public appearance since his return to the United States, he is accosted by a reporter who shows him pictures of Stark Industries weapons in the hands of terrorist groups, including the Jericho missiles he refused to build for them. He also discovers that Stane has been "dealing under the table", supplying weapons to both the U.S. troops and the terrorists, as well as being the one to shut Stark out of the board while he recovers. Faced with the realization of what his company has done, Stark dons the power suit and flies to Afghanistan, rescuing Yinsen's village from the Ten Rings. In destroying their weapon stockpiles, he accidentally draws the attention of the United States Air Force and his friend and company military liaison, Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes. Two F-22 Raptors are ordered to take out the unknown target and during the confrontation one of the Raptors loses its left wing when it collides with Stark. The pilot ejects shortly afterward but his parachute jams. Realizing this, Stark dives down to help the pilot release his parachute, before escaping.

Determined to make amends for his mistakes, Stark sends his assistant Pepper Potts to find the shipping records of Stark Industries, so he can track down the illicit shipments and destroy them. While hacking into the system she discovers that it was Stane who hired the Ten Rings to kill Stark, but they had reneged on the deal when they realized who the target was. She also discovers that Stane has recovered the power suit prototype and has reverse engineered his own version. However, his team of scientists, not possessing Stark's genius, cannot engineer the miniature arc reactor to power the new suit. Stane, upon realizing Pepper's discovery, steals Stark's own arc reactor from his chest to power his new suit, leaving Stark to die. Using his first reactor, which was not designed to power his latest armor, Stark battles with Stane atop Stark Industries and the surrounding streets, defeating him when the full-sized arc reactor that powers the lab is deliberately overloaded by Potts. Afterwards, Stark's alter ego is dubbed "Iron Man" by the press. Stark holds a press conference where his S.H.I.E.L.D. contacts advise him to state that Iron Man is Stark's bodyguard (the cover story used for years in the comics). However, he instead announces that he is Iron Man.

After the credits, S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury visits Stark some time later to discuss the Avenger Initiative.

President Ashton (William Hurt) is attending a global war on terror summit in Spain. Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) and Kent Taylor (Matthew Fox) are two of the Secret Service agents assigned to protect him. This is the first action that Agent Barnes has been in since he took a bullet for President Ashton six-month earlier. We really dont know if Agent Barnes is up to the challenge of protecting the President. Shortly after President Ashton is escorted to the stage in the plaza by the Secret Service, he is immediately shot twice by a rifle from a window and falls to the floor. The crowd is in shock and chaos breaks out all over, especially, when bombs begin to explode. Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker) is an American video-taping the event to show to his children that he was actually there at this historic event. He believes that he has the picture of the man who shot the President. Agent Barnes sees the tape and has a clue to that person. Several different people witness the event, and only through their eyes do we see the truth behind the assassination attempt.
